Seattle
Seattle was founded in 1851 and was originally a land of untouched forests, lakes and mountains. Today, the “Emerald City” is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest surrounded by multiple lakes, Elliott Bay and Puget Sound with views of nearby mountains and forests in all directions.

The city is a stomping ground for many of America’s high tech, entertainment industry and business leaders as well as being home to many athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Various ethnic cultures, faiths, and traditional and alternate lifestyle groups form the melting pot of Seattle’s population, which is one of the many reasons why people choose to relocate to this city. In fact, CNN money magazine has voted Seattle one of the 10 best places to live in the United States and Sperling’s Best Places has named Seattle one of the Top 10 Fiscally Fit cities in the United States.

Queen Anne
The Queen Anne neighborhood was so named for the style of architecture adopted by this area’s early Victorian mansions. It’s convenient location north of Downtown and minutes to the Eastside and Belltown, makes this neighborhood an ideal choice for a wide variety of residents. Lower Queen Anne, where The Fionia is located, is highly popular because it has both a neighborhood atmosphere yet has a close proximity to downtown, the waterfront and Seattle Center. Residents of Queen Anne enjoy a vast array of speciality shops, boutiques, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance of their homes, not to mention the numerous events held at The Seattle Centre (opera, ballet, theatre, sports, Pacific Science Center, etc.), located at the base of Queen Anne. The famed Space Needle, completed in 1962 for the World’s Fair and a Seattle landmark since 1999, is only steps away as is the Monorail, which whisks you to the middle of downtown Seattle in minutes.
